A double-sided stretch-release tape with a specified total thickness of 200 ± 10 μm, intended for battery pack module mounting and electronic display module bonding, with low-residue stretch removal under typical application conditions.
Stretch-Release Mechanism
Slowly and evenly stretching the tape parallel to the bonded surface makes it longer and thinner, progressively reducing interfacial adhesion to support low-residue removal.
XN-DZ200U is used to secure components under normal bonding and shear loads. For rework, pull an exposed tab or reserved stretch end parallel to the bonded surface. As the tape stretches and thins, interfacial adhesion decreases, helping displays and frames, cells and housings, and similar assemblies separate with low residue.

High Shear Holding Power
180° peel adhesion to stainless steel is specified at ≥2400 g/25 mm, with holding power specified at ≥72 hours. These are laboratory values; validate performance on the actual materials and under the intended conditions.

Elongation at break is specified at ≥800%. When the tape is pulled slowly and parallel to the bonded surface, it can support low-residue removal under typical conditions and help reduce the risk of component damage during rework.
